WI STEP Fellowship

What is the WI STEP Fellowship?
What will the Fellowship do?
The Wisconsin STEP Fellowship will serve as a nonpartisan, trusted source of scientific expertise that policymakers can rely on to support their legislative efforts.
Fellows will serve to bolster the capacity of the legislative service agencies to respond to demand for scientific information and data analysis and synthesis on priority topics for the state of Wisconsin.

Key Deliverables
Legislative staff have expressed a need for better analysis of data and trends as they translate to Wisconsin, while service agency staff would like to undertake more in-depth policy reports but lack the time and capacity.
As part of their key deliverables, fellows will work on a range of reports, including confidential policy analyses, standing and study committee briefings, public information memoranda and issue briefs, and data dashboards
